JUNE 10 BOARD MEETING UPDATE
A big thank you to all of our unit members who were able to join us at the June 10 board meeting. The board unanimously approved our contract modifications for 2014-2015. We also want to thank our negotiations team for all of their hard work, time and talent this spring, which led to a successful ratification! We look forward to further improvements in our contract when we reopen our contract in January 2015.

Contract Ratified!

June 6, 2014 – Happy Last Day of School!

CONTRACT RATIFIED

We would like to thank all of you who provided feedback and voted for the tentative agreement. The vote was 244 yes & 13 no votes.

The negotiations team would also like to thank you for your patience as we are in crunch time both in our classrooms and in negotiations. We hope that you had a chance to carefully read the information about our tentative agreement, attend your MHFT site meeting for details and vote on this contract.

We would like to provide you with additional information regarding our process and the survey results.

Community Outreach at Mushroom Mardi Gras

MHFT is planning several community outreach events to promote real engagement with our community in support of our students and neighborhood public schools. The Federation and the District believe that building relationships and partnerships with parents and community members is essential to improving student achievement.  We encourage every MHUSD employee to join in this dialogue.
