Election Countdown: 14 Days
The upcoming election is the most critical election in recent history for MHUSD! We have a clear choice and need to elect candidates who support the innovation that is happening in our neighborhood schools and who will support all of our students.
We must support Donna Foster-Ruebusch, David Gerard, Steven Klem, and Ron Woolf for MHUSD School Board, and Claudia Rossi for Santa Clara County Board of Education!
We are a union of 410 teachers. Together we can educate and inform our community about these candidates. Please contact your friends, neighbors, church groups, book clubs, and any group you can in the next 14 days and ask for their support in this important race.
The California Charter School Association has spent close to $70,000 to win seats in these races to date. This is likely to go up, and the candidates that we are supporting will not get this kind of financial backing. What our candidates do have is our support. Our voices can help them to win. Please do what you can to protect our local schools - help spread the word about this important election!

County Board to Vote on Navigator & Voices Charters
The County Board of Education will vote on both charter appeals on Wednesday, November 19. Please mark your calendar and plan on spending just more evening demonstrating to the County Board that Morgan Hill teachers are committed to our public schools, and that we do not support corporate charters moving into our district with their substandard programs.
